Qualifications
Penny is a qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner having
been trained by the internationally recognised Quest Institute. She is also an Advanced EFT Practitioner.
She is qualified:
- with the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma [HPD]
The first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification based on externally measured competence. Jointly awarded by the NCH and the NCFE - a national assessing body.
- with the Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy [DipCHyp]
from the Quest Institute.- with the NLP Master Practitioner Certificate [NLP (MPrac)] by the Quest Institute.
- with the Advanced Practitioner of Meridian and
Energy Therapies including EFT [CAPAMT] by the
Association for Meridian Energy Therapies- as a Confident Childbirth practitioner from the Quest Institute.
National Council for Hypnotherapy

Penny is a Member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy [MNCH (Acc)] which promotes the highest quality of training and professionalism amongst its members, ensuring confidentiality and respect to all clients. The NCH holds one of the largest registers of independent hypnotherapists in the UK.
As a member of the NCH Penny is bound by a comprehensive
Code of Ethics and Practice and is covered by comprehensive Public Liability
and Professional Indemnity insurance.
The NCH also requires that its members attend supervision on a regular
basis to ensure all cases are being addressed in the optimum way, and
that they keep up to date within the industry, by partaking of regular
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through ongoing training.
UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO)
Penny is registered by the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO). 'Registered by UKCHO', or UKCHO Registered’, means that she has followed, and successfully completed, a high quality course in hypnotherapy to national occupational standards, and is bound by a professional code of conduct, ethics and practice. Her registration number is 81659 on the National Register of Hypnotherapists at www.ukcho.co.uk.
Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council
As a member of the CNHC (registration number 001909-L10) 
Penny is recognised by the Department of Health as a qualified Hypnotherapy Practitioner.
The CNHC is the only regulatory body recognised for Hypnotherapy by the Department of Health. The DoH has recently asked GPs and Chief Nursing Officers to recommend that patients who are seeking complementary therapies should consult with practitioners who are registered with the CNHC. The CNHC is a Government-sponsored, voluntary registration body for complementary healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to provide access to a list of practitioners that have been assessed as meeting national standards of competence and practice. www.cnhc.org.uk.
